DI Team Advances to State
Sevastopol has a high school Destination Imagination team for the first time in four years. This team consists of high school and middle school students: Finn Mathews, Evan Isaksen, Liam Schultz, Ben Martin, Marcus Mann, and Zoey Copiskey. They are coached by Nick Schultz and Jenny Hobart. This team is named “The Ultimate Miners”, and they competed at sectionals this weekend in Shawano. The team’s challenge was engineering, and they had to design and build a roller coaster meeting the specifications of the challenge. The team placed first in their overall challenge and first in their instant challenge.
The team will compete at the state competition on April 1 at UWGB.
