Math team brings home multiple medals
On Tuesday the Jan. 17 the math team competed with both teams placing second overall.
Eight schools competed with over 125 athletes.
Medal winners included Ezra Linnan, finishing first for juniors, Merrick Mann finished fourth for juniors, Logan Filar finished second for sophomores, Eve Andreae finished fifth for sophomores, and Aaron Tomasewski finished first for the freshmen.
The Varsity team scored an all-time high of 228 points falling only 15 points short of the first-place team. The Junior Varsity team scored their all-time high of 159 points.
“ All of the mathletes are doing well, working hard, embracing the challenge, and learning beyond the classroom,” coach Kyle Schleis said.
The team competes again tonight.
