Door County United Swim Team Takes on Conference
Sevastopol Swimmers: Ophelia Linnan, Cassie Rankin, Caitlyn Hasenjager
On Thursday, Oct. 27, the girls’ Door County United swim team will compete at the conference meet. The team is currently undefeated in the conference. Last season they took first place overall at the conference meet.
Head Coach Kelly Rankin is confident going into this year’s meet.
“ My goal for the girls is to win the conference championship, and finish top three for all events,” Rankin said. “I would also like to see 75% of the team beat their personal best times.”
Team Captain Cassie Rankin agrees.
“ I am pretty confident in the team,” Rankin said. “I know that we can pull through and win the conference meet again”
The swim team will travel to Clintonville High school for their competition. The meet starts at 5pm.
