• We are the Champions! The girls’ Varsity basketball team is now regional champions! The girls beat Florence 50-31. They then went on to win the sectional semi-finals against Oneida Nation, 45-28. Next up is the sectional finals against Assumption.
•  Thanks to the National Honor Society and our community’s support of their period product drive, we now have period carts in five bathrooms throughout the school. We had no idea that period poverty was even a thing!
• FREE! The Sevastopol athletic club paid for the fan bus so students could support the girls’ basketball team when they played Oneida in the sectional semi-finals, and the Mighty Pioneers sponsored a fan bus for the sectional finals! Thank you!

• Just when you think spring has sprung, winter rears its ugly head! We are all ready for warmer weather and sunshine!
• No parking zone! Substitute teachers and parents have been parking in students’ parking spots, which has caused all sorts of issues, including being late to class sometimes!
• It’s the end of an era. The boys’ basketball team ended their season on March 4th. They lost against Kewaunne in the first round of regionals by 78-50. The boys’ overall record was 8-16. Good luck, boys, in the upcoming year!
