On Friday January 17, 2025, the Friday of final exams, life skills students hosted a hot cocoa bar in the atrium for the students and staff to enjoy.
The event was a learning opportunity for life skills students. They practiced their planning, coordination with money, and communication. Last year with it just being the staff, they decided to go bigger and better by opening it up for everyone.
It was a successful event, bringing in $535, which will go towards life skills outings for educational purposes and will help the students learn more about our community and meet more people.
The student body also enjoyed the treat.
“There were a lot of people there,” sophomore Brynn Schartner said. “It was a great way of getting the school together and was a great way to end off finals.”
