Every week, the newspaper staff rounds up what they think to be sweet and sour. This is their opinion. They do consider the student body’s ideas, but this is not meant as a representation of the entire student body.
Sweets
Fresh air guaranteed. The spring sports teams have been blessed with warm weather so far this season. They were all able to practice outside within their first week.
Teamwork can make a dreamwork. Sevasotpol’s Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was a huge success. The cast and crew would like to thank everybody who came and supported them.
Kicking the old out, and bringing the new in. The baseball team found a new head coach in the form of Sevastopol Alumni Cody Leist. They look forward to having a good season.
Who can find the gold at the end of the rainbow? St Patrick’s Day is on Sunday and to celebrate, the newspaper class got shamrock shakes.
Sours
Go away. The snow just seems to keep popping back up as it has been snowing at least once a week. Luckily for us it melts very quickly.
The end of a legacy. Bea Dramm and Merrick Mann’s drama years have come to an end. We thank them for their years of amazing performances.
Someone put a new law in place because daylight savings time is getting annoying. Debates were had all over school on whether or not daylights saving time should be kept or not. My vote would be NO.
Finally done. The Juniors took the ACT on Tuesday and the outlook doesn’t seem positive. Many juniors commented that this was the hardest ACT they have taken so far. At least this means no more practice tests.
